Our commitment to accuracy

Detailed Drivers publishes transportation guides, pricing information, and city-specific service pages for 67+ cities across the United States. We take accuracy seriously because our clients make travel decisions based on the information we provide.

All pricing, route distances, drive times, and airport terminal information on our service pages is verified against official sources including airport authority websites, state departments of transportation, and Google Maps distance data. Pricing is reviewed and updated monthly to reflect current rates.

How we create content

Our city service pages are written by our transportation team, drawing on operational experience in each market. When we describe airport pickup procedures, terminal layouts, or local traffic patterns, that information comes from our chauffeurs and dispatchers who work those routes daily.

Blog posts and guides are researched using a combination of our operational data, publicly available statistics from government agencies (FAA, DOT, city tourism boards), and industry reports. We cite external sources with links wherever we reference third-party data.

Pricing transparency

Every service page on our site includes specific pricing — hourly rates, airport transfer rates, and vehicle-specific costs. We do not use vague language like “contact us for pricing” or “competitive rates.” Our pricing has no surge and published openly. Rates vary by city and are updated when changes occur, with a “Last Updated” date on each page.

Rideshare comparisons

Many of our pages include comparison tables between Detailed Drivers and rideshare services like Uber Black and Lyft Lux. The rideshare pricing ranges we cite are based on real-time fare estimates collected from those apps during both normal and surge conditions. Surge multipliers referenced (2.0x–4.5x) reflect documented peak pricing observed during events, rush hours, and severe weather in each city.

Content freshness

Each service page displays a “Last Updated” date. We review and update our highest-traffic pages monthly. All pages are reviewed at least quarterly to ensure accuracy of pricing, route data, and local information.

Independence and advertising

Detailed Drivers does not accept payment for editorial placement or sponsored content on our service pages. Our blog occasionally features partnerships, which are clearly disclosed. Our rideshare comparison tables present factual pricing data — we acknowledge that on-demand rideshare services are faster to book for immediate trips, and we state this on our service pages.
