When and where is Super Bowl LXI?

Super Bowl LXI will be played on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium, according to the SoFi Stadium Super Bowl LXI event page. The same page lists the kickoff time as TBA and names On Location as the official hospitality provider for ticket packages and suites.

NFL owners awarded the game to SoFi Stadium at a December League Meeting, as NFL.com reported. The league noted that it will be the second Super Bowl at the stadium in five years, after Super Bowl LVI, and the ninth in the greater Los Angeles area.

For a hospitality team, those two facts set the frame. The date is fixed, but the kickoff time, and therefore every pickup time on game day, is not yet published. Plan the week now and leave the game-day schedule adjustable until the NFL confirms kickoff.

Super Bowl LXI transportation for a client program works best as a schedule of guest movements, not a list of individual car bookings. Start with a manifest: every guest, their arrival airport and flight, their hotel, and the events they are invited to across the week.

From that manifest, group the movements into four waves: airport arrivals, client dinners and activations, game day, and departures. Each wave has different vehicle needs. Arrivals are spread across days and airports, while game day moves most guests toward one stadium within a narrow window.

SoFi Stadium's standard guidance places drop-off for rideshare, taxis, limos, buses and shuttles on the northbound curb lane of Kareem Court. The stadium's rideshare page says vehicles reach it via westbound Pincay Drive from Crenshaw Boulevard, following traffic control officers. Pickup is at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard.

The parking and transportation page recommends buying parking online in advance, says stadium-managed lots accept only credit cards at the gates, and warns that on-site prices rise on event day. For NFL games, it says lots open four to five hours before kickoff.

For guests using transit, the stadium lists Metro C and K Line service to the LAX/Metro Transit Center, where Metro runs a game-day shuttle from Bus Bay 8 to the stadium. That option rarely suits a client program, but it is useful context for staff who arrive separately.

Treat all of this as a baseline. These pages describe regular stadium operations, and the Super Bowl has its own security and traffic plan. What can guests carry into the stadium?

SoFi Stadium's stadium policies allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 12" x 6" x 12", or small clutch bags up to 4.5" x 6.5". Non-compliant bags can be left at bag valet locations for a fee.

How should airport arrivals be handled during Super Bowl week?

How should the game-day return be organized?

The return is the hardest movement of the day because the game's finish time is not fixed and every guest leaves at once. Plan it before kickoff, not after the final whistle.

Give each guest a card or message with their vehicle, their group lead and the meeting instruction. Name one on-site contact per vehicle group, and have that person confirm the live pickup instruction with dispatch before the group starts walking. Do not assume a chauffeur can wait at a particular curb; follow the pickup arrangement published for the event.

Hourly service is usually the better fit for game day because it absorbs an uncertain finish without rebooking. Decide in advance which guests go back to their hotel and which go on to an after-event dinner, and assign vehicles to match.
