When and where is New York Comic Con 2026?

According to the official New York Comic Con site, NYCC 2026 runs October 8 through 11 at the Javits Center. It is the convention's 20th anniversary, and the organizers have paired it with a Coney Island theme. New for 2026 is a Thursday ticket that admits fans from 3:00 p.m., which puts a wave of arrivals into the Thursday evening rush.

When we checked on October 3, the NYCC site showed Saturday as sold out and limited Thursday and Sunday tickets remaining. A sold-out Saturday means the heaviest drop-off and pickup volume of the weekend, so Saturday is the day to plan the car most carefully.

Where does a car drop off and pick up at Javits?

The Javits Center is a big target. NYC Tourism's guide to getting to Javits gives the official address as 429 Eleventh Avenue and notes that the building spans five blocks from West 34th to 39th Street. It tells visitors to ask a taxi driver for West 35th Street and Eleventh Avenue, and to enter “Javits Center” or “Javits North” in a rideshare app.

For a prearranged car, use the same logic. Name one corner, not the whole building. If your panel is in the Javits North building, say so, because the North building sits at the northern end of the campus. The NYCC FAQ says badge Will Call is in the Crystal Palace, so first-day arrivals who still need a badge should be dropped near that entrance and given extra time.

Pickups are where plans break. At 7:00 p.m. the show floor closes and thousands of people leave at once. Pick a meeting point a block or two away from the main doors, such as a nearby hotel lobby, and text the chauffeur when you are actually walking out. Our Javits Center trade show transportation guide covers the same pickup problem for business shows at the venue.

How do you get from JFK, LaGuardia or Newark to NYCC?

Javits sits in Midtown West, so an airport transfer prices like any Midtown Manhattan run. The table uses the Detailed Drivers rate engine and routed mileage from each airport to Midtown. These are estimates for a direct transfer, not binding quotes.

Airport to Midtown / JavitsRouted milesBusiness Sedan (est.)First Class SUV (est.)Sprinter Van (est.)
JFK · John F. Kennedy International17$220 all-in$270 all-in$670 all-in
LGA · LaGuardia9$180 all-in$210 all-in$600 all-in
EWR · Newark Liberty International16$220 all-in$260 all-in$660 all-in

Estimated point-to-point, all-in — gratuity, tax & card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10; the Port Authority airport access fee and the MTA and New York State per-trip charges are already included. Mercedes S-Class is available in select markets on request.

LaGuardia is the shortest drive of the three. Book it through the LaGuardia airport car service page with your flight number. For JFK and Newark, use the JFK airport transfer and Newark airport car service pages. Airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, starting when the flight actually lands. We track your flight.

Newark has a practical edge for the far West Side. The Lincoln Tunnel comes out on Manhattan's West Side in Midtown, a short drive from Javits. Choose the airport from the flight, though: a nonstop into any of the three usually beats a connection into the closest one.

Why is a car easier than driving yourself to NYCC?

Driving in means two problems. First, Javits sits inside Manhattan's Congestion Relief Zone, at or below 60th Street. The MTA charges a passenger car with E-ZPass $9 to enter during the peak period, which runs 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekends and 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays. Second, you need a garage. The NYCC hotel and travel page points drivers to reserved parking through SpotHero.

A chauffeured car removes the garage from the plan and drops you at the door you need. For black cars, the MTA charge is a $0.75 per-trip passenger charge rather than the $9 daily vehicle toll, and our all-in quotes already include it. A black car service in NYC also waits for you instead of leaving you to find a garage after an 11:00 p.m. panel.

Which vehicle and booking type suits each kind of NYCC visitor?

Match the car to how many people are riding and what they are carrying. Cosplay pieces, props and bags of purchases take more room than a carry-on. Hourly rates below come from the same rate engine.

VehicleHourly (est.)3-hour minimum (est.)Best NYCC fit
Business Sedan$120/hr all-in$360 all-inOne or two fans with day bags, or a guest heading to a single panel
First Class SUV$150/hr all-in$440 all-inA family, or a cosplayer with bulky costume pieces and a helper
Sprinter Van$240/hr all-in$710 all-inA group of friends, a creator team or an exhibitor crew moving together

All-in — gratuity, tax & card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10; the MTA and New York State per-trip charges are already included. Mercedes S-Class is available in select markets on request.

A one-way transfer fits a hotel or airport run. An hourly car service in NYC fits a day with a break: in the morning, out for dinner, back for a 9:00 p.m. panel. Groups do better in a Sprinter van in NYC, which keeps everyone and their gear together. Overtime is billed for the actual additional minutes at the applicable per-minute rate for your selected vehicle.

How should you plan pickups after late panels?

The NYCC FAQ lists panels running until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, hours after the show floor closes. Late pickups have their own pattern: fewer people leave at once, but many leave right when the last panels end. Set the pickup time for 15 minutes after your panel is scheduled to finish, and update dispatch if it runs long. Non-airport pickups include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting.

The NYCC FAQ says only the Main Stage and Empire Stage are cleared after each panel, so you can often stay in other rooms between sessions. If you are staying for back-to-back panels, plan the car around the last one you attend, not the first.

What should you send when you book an NYCC car?

  • Your badge day or days, and the panel or signing times that set your arrival.
  • Pickup address, and the Javits drop-off corner or building (for example, Javits North).
  • Flight number and airline for any airport leg.
  • Passenger count, bags, and any costume pieces or props that need cargo space.
  • A mobile number for the person who will text the chauffeur at pickup.

Compare vehicles on our all-in chauffeur rates page, then send the plan through New York Comic Con car reservations or call (888) 420-0177. With the show starting October 8, book airport legs now. Sedan and SUV bookings receive a full refund when cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Sprinter bookings receive a full refund when cancelled at least 72 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations inside the applicable notice period are charged in full. If your flight is cancelled, there is no cancellation charge. These windows apply unless your quote says otherwise: event bookings and high-demand dates can carry a different window because of event pricing and availability, and your quote will state it.
