Limo service in Fort Worth from Detailed Drivers means a chauffeured First Class SUV, Business Sedan or Sprinter Van, with a Mercedes-Benz S-Class on request. A DFW Airport to Sundance Square transfer is $320 all-in by SUV, hourly service starts at $120/hr, and there is no surge on event nights.

Fort Worth sits inside our car service Dallas coverage, and the two cities share one airport. Most trips here start with a DFW airport car service pickup, because DFW sits between the two downtowns. We do not run stretch limousines in Fort Worth or anywhere else. What people call a limo here is usually an Escalade-class SUV with a chauffeur, and that is what we send.

How much does a car service from DFW to Fort Worth cost?

A car from DFW Airport to downtown Fort Worth is $260 by Business Sedan, $320 by First Class SUV and $740 by Sprinter Van, all-in. Every figure below comes from our rate engine and the routed mileage for that exact trip, so the Stockyards cost a little more than Sundance Square and TCU a little more again. Fort Worth runs west of the airport on TX-183, TX-121 and I-30, and the drive time depends mostly on which of those is backed up. Our guide to DFW and Love Field pickups explains where chauffeurs meet you at each terminal.

What does "limo service" mean in Fort Worth?

In Fort Worth, a limo booking almost always means a chauffeured luxury SUV or sedan for an airport run, a dinner, a wedding or a game. Stretch limousines still exist around Dallas-Fort Worth, but we do not operate them, and we would rather say so than send you somewhere else under a different name. Here is what each of our vehicles is good for.

First Class SUV, up to 6

The car most Fort Worth clients book. A Cadillac Escalade ESV, GMC Yukon Denali or Lincoln Navigator L, with room for a family's luggage from DFW or a couple dressed for Bass Performance Hall. $150/hr by the hour, or $320 from DFW to Sundance Square.

Business Sedan, up to 3

For one traveler or two with carry-ons, usually a convention or a meeting near Alliance. It is the lowest-priced car we run at $120/hr, and it is the right call for a solo DFW transfer.

Sprinter Van, up to 14

For wedding parties, team dinners, bachelor and bachelorette groups in the Stockyards, and anyone moving a group to AT&T Stadium. It seats 14 upright with 12 bags. It is overkill for two people; book the SUV instead.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class, on request

For a wedding exit, an anniversary dinner or an executive who wants a quieter car. Availability varies by date, so ask when you book and we confirm the car and price before the trip.

If your group needs one big vehicle for a bachelor party or a birthday crawl, compare our party bus Dallas quotes, which we arrange per event. For a sedan-and-SUV booking that starts on the Dallas side, our limo service Dallas page covers the same fleet east of the airport, and group vans are explained in detail on our Sprinter van rental in Dallas page.

Is car service better than Uber, a taxi, TEXRail or driving yourself?

For one person with a backpack, a rideshare or the train is often enough. Car service makes sense when you have luggage, a group, a fixed time to keep or an event exit to get through. This is how the options compare for a Fort Worth trip.

Four Fort Worth trips, priced

Convention arrival: DFW to the Convention Center

One attendee with a roller bag, landing at DFW and heading to a downtown hotel near the Fort Worth Convention Center. Business Sedan, $260 all-in, about 24.6 miles.

Family weekend: DFW to the Stockyards

Five people and their bags, straight to a Stockyards hotel in time for the afternoon cattle drive. First Class SUV, $330 all-in for the whole family.

Concert night at Dickies Arena

Dinner in the Cultural District, the show, and a ride home waiting at the end. A 4-hour First Class SUV block is $580 all-in, with no surge when the arena empties.

Game day: Sundance Square to AT&T Stadium

Twelve friends to a Cowboys game and back. A 6-hour Sprinter Van block is $1,410 all-in for the group, or $660 each way if you only need the drop-off.

Fort Worth car service by neighborhood and venue

Fort Worth is spread out. Downtown, the Stockyards, the Cultural District and TCU each sit a few miles apart, and Alliance is a separate trip north. These notes cover how a chauffeured car handles each part of the city.

Sundance Square and downtown Fort Worth

Sundance Square is the center of downtown, with restaurants, hotels and Bass Performance Hall a short walk away. It is about 24 routed miles from DFW, so a car service from DFW to downtown Fort Worth is $320 by First Class SUV. Downtown streets are a grid of one-ways, and drop-offs at the hotels and the hall go quickly when the chauffeur knows which side of the block the entrance faces. For a performance, give us the curtain time and we plan the pickup so you are not walking blocks in formal clothes.

The Fort Worth Stockyards

The Stockyards National Historic District is about 25.7 miles from DFW, north of downtown along North Main Street. The Fort Worth Herd runs its longhorn cattle drive down East Exchange Avenue twice a day, at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weather permitting, according to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Visitors watch from in front of the Livestock Exchange Building. At night the draw is Billy Bob's Texas, the steakhouses and the bars along Exchange Avenue. An hourly SUV or Sprinter is the easy answer for a Stockyards night: the chauffeur waits nearby, nobody drives, and the group leaves together.

The Cultural District and Dickies Arena

West of downtown, the Cultural District holds three major art museums: the Kimbell Art Museum, designed by Louis Kahn and opened in 1972; the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, designed by Tadao Ando; and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the National Cowgirl Museum are close by. The district also includes the Will Rogers Memorial Center and Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat arena that hosts concerts, sports and the month-long Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Dickies Arena is about 27.9 miles from DFW. Arena exits are the hardest part of the night, so tell us the event and we agree a pickup point away from the main crush.

TCU and Amon G. Carter Stadium

Texas Christian University is southwest of downtown, about 28.5 miles from DFW. Families book us for move-in weekends, campus visits and graduation, and alumni book us for home games at Amon G. Carter Stadium, which TCU lists at a capacity of 46,000. On game days, roads around campus close and traffic slows well before kickoff, so we build in extra time and set the post-game pickup at a street the chauffeur can actually reach. A First Class SUV from DFW to campus is $350 all-in.

Alliance, Texas Motor Speedway and north Fort Worth

North Fort Worth is a business trip more than a leisure one. Fort Worth Alliance Airport sits about 18 miles north of downtown and anchors the AllianceTexas corridor of distribution centers and corporate offices. The DFW Airport to Alliance area run is about 24.6 miles, $260 by Business Sedan. Texas Motor Speedway is at the northeast corner of I-35W and SH 114, about 21.4 miles from Sundance Square. Race traffic on I-35W is heavy before and after the green flag, so book hourly if you want the car waiting when the race ends.

Car service Fort Worth to Arlington: AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field

Arlington sits between Fort Worth and Dallas, and its entertainment district puts AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, next to Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, with Texas Live! beside them. From Sundance Square to AT&T Stadium is about 15.2 miles, $260 by First Class SUV and $660 by Sprinter Van. From downtown Dallas the same stadium is about 18.5 miles, so Arlington works as a meeting point for groups coming from both cities.

The drive in is rarely the problem. The exit is. When a stadium empties, rideshare zones fill and parking lots take a long time to clear. A booked car with a set meeting point gets you out sooner, and on an hourly booking the chauffeur stays with the vehicle until you walk up. For Cowboys games, concerts and big events at AT&T Stadium, book as soon as you have tickets, because every group in the Metroplex is booking for the same night.

Groups heading north for a casino day can book the run straight from Fort Worth: Sundance Square to WinStar World Casino is about 73.8 miles, $660 by SUV. Our Dallas to WinStar car service page covers that trip from every pickup area.

Fort Worth weddings, corporate travel and hourly hire

Fort Worth wedding transportation

A Fort Worth wedding usually means guests staying downtown or in the Stockyards, a ceremony at a chapel or a ranch venue outside town, and a reception somewhere in between. We run Sprinter Vans on timed loops between the hotels and the venue, and the couple rides in a First Class SUV or an S-Class on request. Send the timeline and the hotel list and we build the schedule around it. Planners who book across the Metroplex can find the full process on our Dallas wedding transportation page.

Corporate car service in Fort Worth

Corporate trips in Fort Worth split between downtown, around the Convention Center and the office towers near Sundance Square, and the Alliance corridor in the north. We handle airport pickups for visiting executives, roadshow days between Fort Worth and Dallas, and shuttles for conference teams. Companies can set up account billing through our corporate transportation Dallas program, which covers both cities on one invoice. For a single executive who wants a reserved sedan with a professional chauffeur, the black car service Dallas page has the details.

Hourly hire for Fort Worth days and nights

Hourly hire suits days with several stops: a museum morning in the Cultural District, lunch downtown, a meeting in Alliance and dinner in the Stockyards. The chauffeur stays with you, waits at every stop and adjusts the route as the day changes. A 5-hour First Class SUV block is $730 all-in. If you are planning a full day across Dallas and Fort Worth, book a private driver in Dallas and we cover both cities in the same booking.

Love Field and downtown Dallas to Fort Worth

Southwest Airlines passengers often land at Love Field, which is about 33.3 miles from Sundance Square, so the ride to Fort Worth is longer than from DFW: $380 by First Class SUV. Our Love Field car service page covers terminal pickup there. Downtown Dallas to Sundance Square is about 32.3 miles, $300 by Business Sedan, a common run for people with meetings in both downtowns on the same day.

When should you book a car in Fort Worth?

For an ordinary airport transfer, a day or two ahead is usually enough. For anything tied to an event date, book as soon as the date is set. We are a reserved service, not an on-demand app, so if you need a car in the next ten minutes, a rideshare will be faster.

  • Stock Show and Rodeo season: hotels near the Cultural District fill and the arena runs nightly, so book early.
  • Game and race days: Cowboys, Rangers, TCU and Texas Motor Speedway weekends draw the same Sprinters and SUVs; book once you have tickets.
  • Weddings: book once the venue and the guest hotels are set, and confirm the final timeline the week before.
  • Conventions: group arrivals at DFW are easier to plan with the attendee list and flight times in hand.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup for sedans and SUVs, 72 hours for Sprinters. No charge if your flight is cancelled. Event and high-demand bookings follow the window in your quote. Our full policies, including the On-Time Guarantee, are on the service guarantees page.

Detailed Drivers prices Fort Worth rides from its rate engine, all-in. No. Detailed Drivers does not run stretch limousines. When people in Fort Worth ask for a limo, what we send is a chauffeured First Class SUV (Cadillac Escalade ESV, GMC Yukon Denali or Lincoln Navigator L), a Business Sedan, or a Sprinter Van for groups. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class is available on request. For most trips the SUV is the more comfortable car anyway: easier to get in and out of, more luggage room, and it fits through Stockyards and downtown traffic without trouble.

Sundance Square is about 24 routed miles from DFW Airport, with travel time depending on traffic. The Fort Worth Stockyards are about 25.7 miles, Dickies Arena about 27.9 miles and TCU about 28.5 miles. Weekday rush hours on TX-183 and I-30 push the drive toward the upper end.

Airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, starting when the flight actually lands. We track your flight. Inside meet-and-greet is included at no extra charge on every sedan and SUV airport pickup; for Sprinter vans and buses it is an add-on with a second team member, quoted at booking.

Yes. For an event at Dickies Arena, an hourly booking keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle with you, so the car is waiting after the show instead of you hunting for a rideshare in the Will Rogers Memorial Center lots. A 4-hour First Class SUV block is $580 all-in. Tell us the event when you book so we plan the drop-off and the meeting point around the crowd.

Yes. Sundance Square to AT&T Stadium in Arlington is about 15.2 miles, $260 one way by First Class SUV, and Sundance Square to Texas Motor Speedway is about 21.4 miles, $300 by SUV. On game and race days we usually recommend an hourly block so the car waits for the exit.

We schedule a Sprinter Van on timed loops between the hotels and the venue, and a First Class SUV or S-Class on request for the couple.
