The short drive to the Embarcadero
From SAN the chauffeur follows North Harbor Drive along the bay to the cruise terminals. The drive is short, but on embarkation mornings the curb outside the terminals fills with taxis, rideshares and buses, so the chauffeur picks the drop-off point the terminal staff are directing cars to and helps unload. Follow your cruise line's instructions for tagging checked bags before you arrive.
The B Street terminal and the Broadway Pier terminal are next to each other but have separate entrances, and on days with two ships in port the traffic staff may direct cars to different drop-off lanes. That is why we ask for the ship name when you book. If plans change on the day, for example a cruise line moves your ship to the other terminal, message the chauffeur and the drop-off changes with it.
A few hours in San Diego before boarding
If you land early, the terminal may not be ready for you. Book the car by the hour and use the gap: lunch in Little Italy, a walk around Balboa Park, or a visit to the USS Midway Museum next to the cruise terminals.
