SAN terminal pickup guide
San Diego International (SAN) operates two terminals connected by an air-conditioned walkway. Both use lower-level Arrivals curbside pickup at the commercial vehicle zone.
Terminal 1 (Southwest, Alaska, Sun Country, Spirit, Frontier)
Single concourse serving primarily domestic carriers. Lower-level Arrivals curbside is the commercial vehicle pickup zone — your Detailed Drivers chauffeur will be staged there with a name sign as you exit baggage claim. Walking time from baggage claim to curbside: 2–3 minutes.
Baggage claim carousels 1–9 are organized by airline. After collecting bags, exit through the Arrivals doors and look for the Detailed Drivers chauffeur with your name sign at the commercial vehicle pickup zone (located east of the rideshare/taxi staging).
Terminal 2 (Delta, American, United, JetBlue, Hawaiian, international)
