Gaylord Opryland Shuttle

Gaylord Opryland shuttle service is sold by the resort, and the resort's own ticket page says the service does not operate daily. When your date has no listed times, there is no shuttle. A private car from BNA to the resort, 2800 Opryland Drive, is $180 in a Business Sedan for 10.4 miles and about 22 minutes in free-flow conditions.

Detailed Drivers does not operate the Gray Line hotel bus. We book the private car for arrivals the shuttle does not cover, for groups, and for any stop between the airport and the hotel. This is part of our Nashville car service. Airport-wide booking lives on Nashville airport car service.

What the resort shuttle actually does

Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center runs an airport shuttle that guests buy as a ticket. The public schedule page, tickets.gaylordopryland.com, carries a 2026 copyright line and a plain statement: service does not operate daily. Open the buy-tickets list for your date. If no times appear, the shuttle is not available. Do not plan a landing around a bus that the resort has not posted.

On days that are posted, the mechanics are specific. The airport pickup is in the Terminal Parking Garage, right after you exit the lower level. Look for a Gray Line bus under the HOTEL SHUTTLE sign. The resort end is the Cascades Transportation Depot. Departures from the resort toward BNA are at the top of the hour. Departures from BNA toward the resort are at the bottom of the hour. The bus is on the half-hour mark at the airport and on the hour mark at the depot.

The resort address is 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214. The hotel phone published with that shuttle information is (615) 889-1000. Use it for room and shuttle-ticket questions. It is not a Detailed Drivers dispatch line.

Older PDFs have quoted different shuttle fares. The live ticket page we checked on October 7, 2026 does not state a current fare, so this page does not invent one. Buy the ticket from the resort if the date is listed, or book a private car if it is not.

Private car price from BNA and from downtown

These are one-way estimates when the car does not wait. Hourly rates apply if you need the chauffeur to stay. Mercedes S-Class is on request and is not priced.

All-in estimates. Gratuity, tax, and card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10. Tolls extra. Distances are OSRM free-flow on October 7, 2026, from the BNA terminal point and from Bridgestone Arena at 501 Broadway. They are not a rush-hour promise.

Shuttle, private car, Uber, taxi, or driving

The resort bus is the right tool on a day it is posted, for a guest who can make the half-hour airport mark and does not need a downtown stop. Everything else is a different product.

Two different curbs at BNA

People miss each other here because the hotel bus and the private car do not share a door. The Gray Line shuttle waits in the Terminal Parking Garage under HOTEL SHUTTLE. A Detailed Drivers car waits in the Ground Transportation Center.

Resort shuttle curb

Terminal Parking Garage, right after the lower-level exit. Gray Line bus. HOTEL SHUTTLE sign. Half-hour mark on days the resort has posted service.

Private car curb

Ground Transportation Center, South Wing, Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2. Follow LIMO-TAXI signs. The chauffeur confirms the bay. This is the same commercial loading our BNA car service page describes.

Nashville International Airport is a single terminal with concourses A through D. Satellite gates C4 through C11 use an airside shuttle to a station next to C13. Build that walk into a tight shuttle departure. A private car can wait. The bus will not. Terminal instructions for the commercial curb are also on our BNA car service page, and the airport publishes ground transportation at flynashville.com.

Every sedan and SUV airport pickup includes inside meet-and-greet at no extra charge: your chauffeur waits inside the terminal at arrivals and texts you when you land. For Sprinter vans, minibuses and coaches, the chauffeur stays with the vehicle, so inside meet-and-greet is an add-on: a second team member meets your group inside, at an extra cost quoted at booking. Dispatch confirms the inside arrivals meeting point and loading bay before you fly. Do not wait at the hotel-shuttle sign for a black car.

Who should skip the bus

Your date is not posted

The ticket page is the test. No times means no shuttle. Book the car before you leave home, not after you land and find an empty garage.

The flight is late

A bottom-of-the-hour bus does not hold for a delay. Flight tracking on a private car moves the pickup with the inbound.

You have a downtown plan

Broadway, the Ryman, Music City Center, and the Gulch are not shuttle stops. Downtown to the resort is a separate trip on Briley Parkway and Ellington Parkway in the October 7 measurement.

You are more than a couple

A Sprinter is one vehicle for up to 14. Two or three rideshare cars after a convention session is how groups get split across Donelson Pike.

Convention weeks and the rest of Nashville

Opryland is a convention hotel on the east side of the city, next to the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills. Most of the restaurants and stages visitors actually want are not on the resort property. A meeting day that ends with dinner on Broadway is an hourly booking. A 6-hour sedan block is $710. A 4-hour SUV block is $580. The same chauffeur does the airport, the hotel, and the evening.

Company meetings that need an invoice, not a guest-room charge, belong on corporate transportation Nashville. A car that stays with a visitor for sightseeing between sessions is a private driver Nashville reservation. Executives who want the chauffeur product named as such can start at Nashville chauffeur service.

A black sedan, as opposed to an SUV, is black car service Nashville. A formal night out from the resort is Nashville limo service. Seating photos are on the fleet page. The rate engine is explained on rates.

If the week also includes Franklin or Cool Springs, the measured airport miles are on Nashville airport to Franklin TN. Titans and Bridgestone nights are on Nashville airport to Nissan Stadium. Groups of up to 14 should use Sprinter van rental Nashville, which is chauffeured. Weddings that start with an Opryland guest block can add wedding transportation Nashville.

How the measured drive actually runs

The October 7, 2026 OSRM path from the airport terminal point to the resort point is 10.4 miles and about 22 minutes with no traffic. Named roads on that path include Donelson Pike and Briley Parkway. A chauffeur can choose a different road if an incident makes Briley the slow option. The price is tied to the measured distance, not to a promise that every trip uses one ramp.

From downtown, the measurement started at Bridgestone Arena, 501 Broadway, because a Lower Broadway pin did not geocode cleanly. That path is 10.8 miles and about 20 minutes free-flow, using Broadway, 3rd Avenue North, James Robertson Parkway, Ellington Parkway, Briley Parkway, and McGavock Pike. Evening Broadway traffic is slower than 20 minutes. Book the clock, not the free-flow minute, if you have a curtain time at the Ryman or a reservation you cannot miss.

The Grand Ole Opry sits in the same Opryland district as the resort. If the only destination is the Opry and not the hotel, say so on the reservation. The resort shuttle is a hotel bus. It is not an Opry-to-Broadway circulator. Opry Mills, the shopping center beside the hotel, is a reasonable extra stop on an hourly booking and a poor assumption on a one-way airport transfer unless you add it.

Return trips to BNA should leave earlier than the free-flow 22 minutes suggests. Morning departures toward the airport share Donelson Pike with airport employees and with other hotels. For a flight, use the airline's own arrive-at-airport guidance and then add the drive. The chauffeur can stage at the resort porte-cochère. Tell the desk you are departing so the car is not stuck behind a motor-coach unload, which is common on convention changeover mornings.

Booking steps

  1. 01 · Check the shuttle date first

If the resort has posted times and a shared bus is fine, buy that ticket from Gaylord. If the date is empty, or you need a stop, continue here.

  2. 02 · Send the flight and the hotel

Flight number, passenger mobile, and whether the drop is the resort, the Opry, or a downtown address first.

  3. 03 · Pick sedan, SUV, or Sprinter

Three passengers in a sedan. Six in an SUV. Up to 14 in a Sprinter. S-Class only if you ask and it is available. No rate is published for it.

  4. 04 · Meet at the commercial curb

Ground Transportation Center, not the HOTEL SHUTTLE sign, unless you bought the resort bus instead.

FAQs

Yes. Gaylord Opryland sells its own airport shuttle. The resort's ticket page states that the service does not operate daily. If the buy-tickets list has no times for your date, the shuttle is not running that day. Pickup for the shuttle is a Gray Line bus under the HOTEL SHUTTLE sign in the Terminal Parking Garage, just after you exit the lower level. That is a different curb from the limousine pickup in the Ground Transportation Center.

A private car from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Gaylord Opryland is $180 in a Business Sedan, $220 in a First Class SUV, and $610 in a Sprinter Van. The measured driving distance is 10.4 miles and about 22 minutes in free-flow conditions (OSRM, October 7, 2026). The path that measurement used ran on Donelson Pike and Briley Parkway. Gratuity, tax, and card processing are included and the total is rounded to the nearest $10. We do not publish a fare for the resort's own shuttle.

On days the shuttle is scheduled, the resort's ticket page says departures from the resort's Cascades Transportation Depot are at the top of the hour, and departures from BNA are at the bottom of the hour. The bus is at the airport on the half-hour mark and at the depot on the hour mark. Check the current ticket list before you rely on a specific hour, because the service does not operate daily.

Limousine and black car loading is in the Ground Transportation Center, South Wing, Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2, following LIMO-TAXI signs. That is not the hotel-shuttle stop in the parking garage. Inside arrivals meet-and-greet is included at no extra charge for sedan and SUV airport pickups. For Sprinter vans, a separate inside greeter is an add-on quoted at booking; the chauffeur stays with the vehicle. Your chauffeur confirms the bay on the day. Flight number goes on the reservation so the pickup tracks the arrival.

The resort shuttle runs between BNA and the hotel. It does not stop on Broadway. A private car can. Downtown (measured at Bridgestone Arena, 501 Broadway) to the resort is 10.8 miles and about 20 minutes free-flow, $180 in a sedan if it is a single one-way trip. If you need the car to wait for a dinner and then continue to the resort, book hourly instead. A 3-hour sedan minimum is $360.

The shuttle is a shared bus on the days it runs. A group that wants one departure time, extra luggage, or a stop the bus does not make should book a vehicle. A Sprinter Van holds up to 14 passengers at $610 for the airport-to-resort trip, or $240/hr if the van stays. Party buses are quoted per event. Detailed Drivers does not operate party buses.

Uber and Uber for Business can cover this trip, including company profiles and centralized billing if your program already uses them. The fare can change with demand after a full arrival bank. A Detailed Drivers sedan is reserved before you land, at the engine price above, with a chauffeur who already has the resort address. For one person and no luggage timing risk, Uber is a fair choice. For a late arrival or a group, the reserved car is the one that is still assigned to you if the flight slips.

Gaylord Opryland Resort is at 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214. The resort's published phone number is (615) 889-1000. Call that number for the hotel and for questions about the resort's own shuttle tickets. Call Detailed Drivers at (888) 420-0177 for a private car. We do not sell the Gray Line shuttle.

No. Detailed Drivers does not have a Nashville office and does not have a desk at the resort. The chauffeur meets you at BNA or at the address you book, including the resort porte-cochère for a departure. Service area only.

Yes. That is an hourly booking, not two shuttle tickets. Broadway to the resort is 10.8 miles free-flow. A 4-hour SUV block, enough for a show and the rides both ways if the timing fits, is $580 at $150/hr. Tell dispatch the show time so the return is on the same reservation.
