Detailed Drivers runs it as a reserved, flight-tracked transfer priced all-in.

How much does a private car service from MCO to Disney World cost?

Every price below comes from the same rate engine our booking widget uses, applied to the road miles from the airport to each resort area. The figure is for the whole vehicle, not per person, so a family of five in a First Class SUV pays one price. What you see is what appears on the card statement.

All-in estimates: gratuity, tax & card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10. Tolls, if your route uses them, are confirmed at booking. As-directed (hourly) service runs $120/hr Business Sedan, $150/hr First Class SUV and $240/hr Sprinter Van with a 3-hour minimum ($360, $440 and $710 all-in). The Mercedes S-Class is available in select markets on request.

A quick way to read the Orlando airport to Disney table: if your resort is near Epcot or Disney Springs, use the lower numbers; if you are staying on the monorail loop at the Magic Kingdom, use the higher ones. The difference is only a few miles, because nearly every Disney resort is reached from the same SR 417 and World Drive approaches.

Private transfers work door to door. The chauffeur loads the bags at the Orlando airport curb and unloads them at your Disney hotel door, and nobody outside your group rides along. Couples usually take the Business Sedan, families staying at a Deluxe resort with several suitcases tend to book one of our SUVs, and larger groups book Sprinter vans so everyone arrives together. Booking in advance on our website takes a few minutes, and the price you see there is the price charged.

Booking the return trip at the same time is the easiest way to lock in both legs. The resort to airport ride is priced on the same miles, and the chauffeur is waiting at the resort lobby at the time you choose rather than you hunting for a ride on checkout morning.

What replaced Disney's Magical Express, and how do private transfers compare with Disney shuttle options?

For years, Disney Resort hotel guests rode the complimentary Magical Express motorcoach from MCO to their hotel. That service stopped accepting arriving guests at the end of December 2021, and its final return trips to the airport ran in January 2022. Disney has not replaced it with another free Disney shuttle, so the ride from Orlando airport to Disney is now something every guest plans and pays for.

The company that operated the old Disney buses, Mears, now sells Mears Connect, a per-person shuttle with a shared Standard service and an Express option. Public transit exists too: LYNX buses run between the airport and Disney Springs (check GoLYNX for the current route and schedule), though you still need Disney's own buses to reach most resorts from there. Rail does not reach the resort area. Whichever transportation you choose, check the operator's website for current fares and rules before you travel. Here is how the realistic airport to Disney options compare for the ride itself.

OptionWhat the ride looks likeBest fit
Detailed Drivers private car$310 all-in for a First Class SUV to the Magic Kingdom resorts. Chauffeur at baggage claim, flight tracked, direct to your resort, same price on holiday weeks.Families with luggage, late arrivals, groups.
Mears Connect shuttlePer-person fares. Standard is a shared ride with stops at other hotels; Express is more direct but can still be shared based on demand. One or two travelers with flexible timing.
Uber / LyftPriced by demand at the moment you request, so a busy arrival bank can cost more. Vehicle size and luggage space vary, and car seats are not standard.Light packers arriving off-peak.
TaxiMetered from the curb queue. No reservation and no meet inside the terminal.Short-notice trips without a booking.
Transit (LYNX bus)Lowest fare, but about an hour to Disney Springs and a transfer to a Disney bus after that. Hard with suitcases and kids.Solo travelers with a backpack.
Rental car / driving yourselfRental counter lines after the flight, then driving unfamiliar roads tired. Disney says overnight self-parking is complimentary for Disney Resort hotel guests, but the car often sits unused because Disney buses, the monorail and the Skyliner reach the parks.Guests planning off-property days.

Parking rules come from the Walt Disney World parking page. Valet at Deluxe resorts carries a nightly charge, and hotels not operated by Disney, such as the Swan and Dolphin, set their own parking fees.

Four common airport to Disney transportation trips, priced by the engine

Couple to the BoardWalk

Two travelers, two suitcases, landing at Terminal B on a Friday evening. A Business Sedan to the Epcot resorts is $230 all-in, and they are at the front desk before the shuttle would have finished loading.

Family of five to the Polynesian

Three kids, five bags and a stroller. A First Class SUV to the Magic Kingdom resorts is $310 all-in for the whole vehicle, with one stop for groceries added at booking.

Two families sharing a villa at Saratoga Springs

Nine travelers on the same flight. One Sprinter Van to the Disney Springs area is $690 all-in, and nobody waits at the curb for a second car.

Late arrival to the Waldorf Astoria

A delayed flight lands after 11 PM. The chauffeur has tracked it all evening and is at baggage claim when the bags arrive. A Business Sedan to Bonnet Creek is $240 all-in, the same at midnight as at noon.

How long is the drive from Orlando airport to Disney resorts, and what happens when you land?

The road distance is short for a city this size. Disney Springs and the Epcot resorts are about 19 miles from the airport, Pop Century and Coronado Springs about 20, the Animal Kingdom area about 22, and the Magic Kingdom resorts about 23. With empty roads that is 30 to 37 minutes. In ordinary traffic, plan on 30 to 50 minutes, and allow more on Friday afternoons and holiday weekends when the whole tourist corridor is busy.

Most of the drive follows the toll expressways south and west of the airport toward the Disney property, which avoids the slowest stretches of I-4 through the attractions corridor. The chauffeur chooses the route on the day based on live traffic, and any tolls are confirmed when you book.

Meeting your chauffeur at Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport has a main terminal split into Terminal A and Terminal B, plus Terminal C, which opened in 2022 and handles many international and some domestic flights. Whichever terminal you land in, the chauffeur tracks the flight and waits inside at the baggage claim for your airline, holding a sign with your name. You get a text with the chauffeur's details before you land. From there it is a short walk to the vehicle, the bags go in once, and you can sit back and enjoy the ride while the chauffeur drives.

International arrivals at Terminal C clear passport control and customs before reaching the public area, which can take a while when several flights arrive together. The chauffeur watches the real exit time and waits. You are not charged for flight delays or for the time a customs line takes.

Why families choose private transportation from the airport to Disney

The first hour of a Disney vacation sets the tone. After a flight with tired kids, most people want a reliable ride that is already waiting, a clean vehicle with room for everyone, and a direct drive to the Disney hotel instead of a tour of other resorts. That is the case for private transportation from the Orlando airport to Disney: comfort, a fixed price agreed in advance, and a chauffeur who handles flight delays without a phone call. Guests staying off property at Bonnet Creek or the Disney Springs hotels get the same airport to Disney service, and the theme parks are a short ride from all of them. For a vacation-home stay, see the MCO to Kissimmee car service page.

Traveling with kids, strollers and a lot of luggage

A Disney vacation usually means more luggage than a business trip. Count every checked bag and every carry-on, then pick the vehicle: the Business Sedan takes 3 passengers and 3 large bags, the First Class SUV takes 6 and 6, and the Sprinter Van takes up to 14 with 12 bags. A folded stroller fits easily in our SUVs or the Sprinter Van. If you are traveling with children who need car seats or booster seats, request them when you book and tell us their ages; we confirm availability for your date. Many families bring their own seats, and the chauffeur helps fit them.

If your room is not ready when you arrive at your Disney hotel, Bell Services at Disney Resort hotels can usually hold your luggage while you head to a park or to lunch. Check your resort reservation for the exact check-in time.

Adding a grocery stop on the way to the resort

Plenty of families want water, snacks, breakfast food or a case of drinks in the room on day one. Ask for a grocery stop when you reserve, and the chauffeur plans the route to include it. A quick stop is arranged at booking. A longer shopping run, where the chauffeur waits while you fill a cart, is booked as-directed at $120/hr in the Business Sedan or $150/hr in the First Class SUV, with the 3-hour minimum. Families who want reliable transportation for the rest of the afternoon often use our hourly car service in Orlando for the day.

Before you book

  • • Flight number: we track it, so delays move your pickup without a phone call.
  • • Exact resort name: several Disney resorts share long entrance roads, and the right lobby saves time.
  • • Head count and bag count: this decides between sedan, SUV and Sprinter Van.
  • • Children's ages: needed if you are requesting car seats or booster seats.

When should you leave Disney World for your flight out of MCO?

Work backward from your departure. For a domestic flight, leave the resort about three hours ahead: 35 to 50 minutes of driving, time to drop bags and clear security, and a cushion for traffic. For an international departure from Terminal C, leave closer to four hours ahead. Sunday afternoons and the last day of school holidays are the busiest airport runs from the resort area, so add 30 minutes then.

Many guests use the last morning for one more park visit, a late breakfast, or lunch at one of the Disney Springs restaurants, and enjoy the extra hours rather than sitting in a lobby. The chauffeur can pick up from the resort lobby, from Disney Springs, or from a park entrance area, so the bags and the people meet the car at the agreed time. It is a reliable way to end the trip, with the same comfort as the ride in. Tell us the pickup point when you book the return trip.

Onward trips from Disney: Universal theme parks, Port Canaveral and beyond

A lot of Orlando vacations do not end at Disney. Some families move to a Universal hotel for the second half of the week, and many sail from Port Canaveral after a few park days. For another theme-park stop, compare our MCO to LEGOLAND Florida car service page. Those legs are priced the same way, from the road miles. Ground transportation for every leg is booked the same way. For the cruise leg, our MCO to Port Canaveral transportation page covers terminal-by-terminal drop-off and timing, and groups larger than six usually move together in a Sprinter van rental in Orlando.

When to book your Disney airport transfer

Spring break, summer and school holidays

The heaviest family travel weeks in Orlando, when the most people are staying near the theme parks. Book two to three weeks in advance, especially for the First Class SUV and the Sprinter Van, and book the return trip in the same reservation.

Thanksgiving through New Year

Resorts fill and arrival banks at MCO are long. Book 30 days ahead if you can. The price does not rise on these dates; availability is the only thing that tightens.

Groups, reunions and runDisney weekends

If you are organizing a group trip, large parties need a Sprinter Van or several vehicles timed to the same flight. Book as early as your flights are set so we can hold the vehicles you need.

Ordinary midweek arrivals

Two days of notice is usually plenty, and short-notice requests often work, subject to vehicle availability. Call (888) 420-0177 any time.

MCO to Disney World FAQs

Straight answers on price, drive time, Magical Express, shuttles, car seats, grocery stops and return trips.

A private chauffeured transfer from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to a Walt Disney World resort costs $230 to $250 all-in in a Business Sedan, $280 to $310 in a First Class SUV, and $690 to $730 in a Sprinter Van. The range reflects distance: the Epcot resorts and Disney Springs sit about 19 road miles from the airport, the Magic Kingdom resorts about 23. Gratuity, tax and card processing are inside the number, and there is no surge pricing on holiday weeks. Tolls are confirmed at booking.

Plan on 30 to 50 minutes of driving. With no traffic the run is roughly 30 minutes to Disney Springs or the Epcot resorts and 35 to 37 minutes to the Magic Kingdom resorts. Weekday rush hours and holiday weekends add time, mostly on the SR 417 and SR 528 approaches. Add 15 to 30 minutes at the airport for the walk to baggage claim and the bags themselves. A family landing at noon is usually at the resort front desk before 1:30.

No. Disney's Magical Express, the complimentary motorcoach between Orlando International Airport and Disney Resort hotels, stopped taking arriving guests at the end of 2021, and its last return trips to the airport ran in January 2022. Since then every guest arranges their own ride. The main options are the Mears Connect shared shuttle, rideshare, a taxi, a rental car, or a private car service like ours.

It depends on group size and patience. Mears Connect charges per person and its Standard service is a shared ride that stops at several resorts, so the trip can run long if your hotel is late on the list. A private car is one price for the whole vehicle, leaves when you reach the curb, and goes straight to your resort. For one or two travelers on a loose schedule, the shuttle is the lower spend. For a family of four or more with luggage, a First Class SUV at $310 all-in to the Magic Kingdom resorts is often close to the shuttle total and saves the hotel stops.

Tell us the ages of your children when you book and request car seats or booster seats then. We confirm availability for your date before the trip. Many families flying with young children also bring their own seats, and the chauffeur helps install them at the curb. Strollers fit in the cargo area of the First Class SUV and the Sprinter Van.

Yes. Many families pick up water, snacks and breakfast items before reaching the resort. Ask for the stop when you book so the chauffeur can plan it. A short stop is set at booking, and a longer shopping run with the chauffeur waiting is booked as-directed at $120/hr for the Business Sedan or $150/hr for the First Class SUV, with a 3-hour minimum.

We track your flight in real time and set the pickup from the actual landing, so a delay simply moves the chauffeur's arrival at baggage claim. Afternoon thunderstorms in the Florida summer can hold arrivals at MCO for an hour or more, and the chauffeur waits for the real arrival. You do not need to call us to rebook.

For a domestic flight, leave a Disney resort about three hours before departure. That covers 35 to 50 minutes of driving, the TSA line, and a buffer for traffic. For an international flight from Terminal C, leave closer to four hours ahead. On holiday weekends and Sunday afternoons, when much of the resort area heads to the airport at once, add another 30 minutes.

The Business Sedan carries 3 passengers and 3 large bags, which suits a couple. The First Class SUV (Cadillac Escalade ESV, GMC Yukon Denali or Lincoln Navigator L class) carries 6 passengers and 6 bags and is the usual pick for a family of four or five with a stroller. Larger families and groups traveling together use the Sprinter Van: up to 14 passengers and 12 bags in one vehicle.

Yes, and both are common second legs of a Disney trip. Disney Springs to the Universal Orlando hotels is about 12 miles ($190 Business Sedan all-in), and the Magic Kingdom resorts are about 18 miles away ($230). Port Canaveral is about 63 miles from Disney Springs: $470 in a Business Sedan or $590 in a First Class SUV, all-in.
