Limo service Northern Virginia, as Detailed Drivers runs it, is a chauffeured Business Sedan, First Class SUV or Sprinter Van booked ahead and priced all-in. A ride from DCA to Tysons is $210 in a sedan, IAD to Reston is $160, and an hourly day starts at $120/hr. We serve Virginia from our reservation team and arrange pickups at your confirmed address.
There are no stretch limousines in this fleet, and we would rather say so up front. People searching for a Northern Virginia limo are usually after a clean, quiet, professionally driven car for an airport run, a Pentagon or contractor meeting, a Tysons roadshow, a wedding in Loudoun or a day among the vineyards, and the three vehicles below cover each of those.
This page covers the Virginia side of the river. For the District itself, start with our DC car service page, and for galas and event work in the city see limo service in Washington DC. Riders heading the other way will want limo service in Maryland, which covers Bethesda, Rockville and Annapolis.

All-in estimates: gratuity, tax and card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10. Hourly rates and booking totals are rounded independently. Drive times are OSRM free-flow modeling, excluding boarding and terminal time. Routes use airport-terminal and destination reference points; your exact address may change the mileage and quote. The written quote for your trip is the binding figure, and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is available on request.
Northern Virginia has two airports of its own, and the right one depends on which side of the region you are headed to. Reagan National is minutes from Rosslyn, the Pentagon, Crystal City and Old Town. Dulles is the short drive for Reston, Herndon and Loudoun, and it is where many long-haul and international flights land. Tysons sits between them. Our pages for DCA car service and IAD car service cover terminal details, and the Washington DC airport car service hub compares every airport we serve. If you are connecting between airports, see DCA to IAD car service.

All-in estimates: gratuity, tax and card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10. Hourly rates and booking totals are rounded independently. Minutes are OSRM free-flow modeling, excluding traffic, boarding and terminal time. Routes use airport-terminal and destination reference points. Old Town uses Alexandria City Hall, and Reston uses Reston Town Center; your actual address may change the route and quote. BWI entries are included where a reference route was checked.
Sedan and SUV airport pickups include inside meet-and-greet. For a Sprinter Van, inside meet-and-greet is an add-on quoted at booking. Airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, starting when the flight actually lands. We track your flight.
Your pickup time follows the actual landing time, so a delayed flight does not leave a chauffeur idling at the wrong hour or a car that left too early. Send the airline and flight number when you book and dispatch handles the rest.
Each entry below pairs a few real anchors with the route numbers from the tables above. Addresses come from the organizations themselves, and drive times are free-flow, so add margin for traffic.
The Arlington office corridor across the Key Bridge from Georgetown. Rosslyn is on both the Blue and Silver lines according to the Metro Blue Line page. DCA to Rosslyn is $150 sedan, about 9 minutes without traffic, and Dulles is $260 (about 36 minutes).
DCA to the Pentagon is $140 sedan, about 6 minutes without traffic. The building is controlled by the Defense Department, so visitors follow the Pentagon's own rules and the instructions from the person hosting them. For a return trip, agree on an authorized pickup location and time with your host before booking.
The Pentagon City and Crystal City area, where Amazon's second headquarters is located. It is about as close to Reagan National as a destination can be: DCA to Crystal City is $140 sedan and about 7 minutes without traffic. Metro's Blue Line has Pentagon City, Crystal City and Reagan National Airport stations.
At 1 Memorial Avenue in Arlington. The cemetery's visit page says vehicle access through the grounds is generally not authorized apart from permit holders and funeral participants, and that visitors can park at the Welcome Center garage and walk in. We set the drop-off point with you at booking, and a family traveling with someone who has trouble walking should tell dispatch first.
King Street, the waterfront and the historic blocks around them. DCA to Old Town is $150 sedan (about 11 minutes), downtown DC is $170 (about 17 minutes), Dulles is $310 (about 49 minutes) and BWI is $350 (about 61 minutes). The King St-Old Town Metro station is on the Blue Line.
George Washington's estate sits on the Potomac south of Alexandria. It is not in the price table, so ask for a written quote at booking. An hourly reservation can combine the estate with an Old Town stop. Confirm each destination and the admission arrangements before choosing the booking duration.
The business and shopping hub of Fairfax County. Tysons Corner Center is a shopping destination in Tysons. The Silver Line's Tysons station provides a rail alternative; check the center's current directions for pedestrian access. Capital One Hall is at 7750 Capital One Tower Road. DCA to Tysons is $210 sedan (about 26 minutes), Dulles is $200 (about 22 minutes) and downtown DC is $200 (about 22 minutes).
Capital One keeps its headquarters on Capital One Drive in McLean, and the Silver Line has a McLean station. DCA to McLean is $190 sedan (about 23 minutes) and Dulles is $210 (about 24 minutes). Business Sedan and First Class SUV reservations can serve executive visits; choose a class based on passengers and bags.
Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is at 1551 Trap Road in Vienna, and the National Park Service page lists the Filene Center and Theatre-in-the-Woods with performances from May through September. It also points visitors to rideshare and other transportation options. A pre-booked return pickup at an agreed spot avoids the scramble when a full house leaves at once.
Reston Town Center, the office parks along the Dulles corridor and the Herndon area. The Silver Line has Wiehle-Reston East, Reston Town Center, Herndon and Innovation Center stations. IAD to Reston is $160 sedan (about 11 minutes), IAD to Herndon is $150 (about 10 minutes) and DCA to Reston is $250 (about 37 minutes). Downtown DC to Reston is $240 (about 33 minutes).
The City of Fairfax, the courthouse area and the George Mason University campus. DCA to Fairfax is $230 sedan (about 33 minutes) and Dulles is $210 (about 27 minutes). For campus visits or move-in travel, tell dispatch about bulky bags before selecting a vehicle.
The Loudoun County seat and the gateway to the vineyard country. IAD to Leesburg is $220 sedan (about 26 minutes), Tysons to Leesburg is $260 (about 39 minutes) and downtown DC is $320 (about 57 minutes). DCA is $330 (about 60 minutes).
Horse country in western Loudoun and a common wedding and tasting-room destination. IAD to Middleburg is $260 sedan and $730 in a Sprinter, about 40 minutes without traffic. From downtown DC it is $360 (about 68 minutes).
IAD to Manassas is $220 sedan and $680 in a Sprinter, about 31 minutes without traffic. For an airport run or corporate visit, send the exact Manassas address before confirming the quote.
A longer Virginia journey. DCA to Fredericksburg is $410 sedan and $990 in a Sprinter, about 70 minutes without traffic.
The same three vehicles cover every occasion on this list. What changes is the booking format: a single transfer for an airport run, an hourly block for anything with stops. Booking details are on the reservations page.
Home or hotel to DCA or IAD and back, with flight tracking. Tell dispatch about strollers and golf bags before choosing a vehicle. Groups larger than six can request a Sprinter, subject to its luggage fit.
A round trip from DCA or a Tysons hotel to a meeting in Arlington, with the return time set in advance. Visitors follow the Pentagon's own access rules, and your host will tell you where to be dropped off.
A day moving between Tysons, McLean and Reston offices, with one chauffeur holding the car between stops. Our executive car service in Washington DC page describes how that works, and the DC corporate travel page covers account billing for repeat travelers.
Couples, parents and guest shuttles between a hotel and a country venue. Our DC wedding transportation page covers the planning side, and the same cars work for Virginia venues. Give the chauffeur the ceremony start time and the reception end time.
A group touring tasting rooms around Leesburg and Middleburg books an hourly Sprinter or SUV so the same chauffeur drives every leg. Tasting rooms set their own reservation and group rules, so confirm each stop before the day.
Wolf Trap in Vienna and Capital One Hall in Tysons. For a return pickup, agree on a reachable meeting point and tell dispatch the expected end time. Check the venue's current pickup guidance before the event.
A Sprinter Van keeps a group of up to 14 together across photos, dinner and the dance, with an hourly booking and one chauffeur for the night. Give the chauffeur the full list of stops.
For a larger group moving between venues, our Sprinter van rental in Washington DC page explains the booking format. If you were looking for a party bus in DC, read that page first, since the vehicles differ.
Hourly service is the right format when you have more than one stop, such as a meeting in Tysons followed by dinner in Old Town, a winery afternoon or a prom night. The minimum is 3 hours. Our DC hourly chauffeur page explains how as-directed time works.
| Vehicle | Per hour | 3 hours | 5 hours | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Business Sedan | $120/hr | $360 | $600 | Up to 3 |
| First Class SUV | $150/hr | $440 | $730 | Up to 6 |
| Sprinter Van | $240/hr | $710 | $1,180 | Up to 14 |
All-in estimates: gratuity, tax and card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10. Hourly rates and booking totals are rounded independently. Mercedes-Benz S-Class available on request. Overtime is billed for the actual additional minutes at the applicable per-minute rate for your selected vehicle.
The same written policies apply on a single sedan or a Sprinter full of wedding guests, and they apply the same way in Virginia as anywhere else we drive.
If your chauffeur isn't at your booked pickup address by your scheduled pickup time, we refund the full fare. Every booking, every vehicle, every city, 24/7. For airport pickups we track your flight, so the On-Time Guarantee follows the actual landing time: your chauffeur is waiting when you land and texts you. If they are not, we refund the full fare. The full terms are on our service guarantees page.
The price you are quoted covers gratuity, tax and card processing for the trip as booked. Additional stops, waiting beyond the included allowance, overtime and itinerary changes can alter the total. Any separately quoted event or service conditions belong in the written confirmation.
Non-airport pickups include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting. Sedan and SUV bookings receive a full refund when cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Sprinter bookings receive a full refund when cancelled at least 72 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations inside the applicable notice period are charged in full. If your flight is cancelled, there is no cancellation charge. These windows apply unless your quote says otherwise: event bookings and high-demand dates can carry a different window because of event pricing and availability, and your quote will state it.
Every minute figure on this page is a free-flow drive time from the road network, which means a trip with no traffic at all. Real trips in Northern Virginia rarely match it. I-66 inside and outside the Beltway, I-495 around Tysons, the George Washington Memorial Parkway near Reagan National and the Dulles corridor can all slow down sharply at rush hour or during a summer weekend. Treat the routing figures as a baseline and confirm a pickup time for your exact date, address and arrival deadline.
Several routes also carry tolls. The Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) runs between Dulles and Tysons and is operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, while the I-66 and I-495 Express Lanes charge prices that change with congestion. We leave amounts off this page on purpose, since they depend on the route and the hour. Ask dispatch how tolls apply to your trip when you reserve, and rely on the written quote.
For a morning departure flight, tell dispatch the airline, the flight number and the terminal if you know it, and work backward from the airline's own check-in guidance. Our complete guide to DCA, IAD and BWI car service walks through terminal layouts and timing for each airport. For a wedding or a concert, give us the start time of the event rather than the time you would like to arrive, and we will set the pickup with a cushion.
Luggage deserves the same planning. The rate card lists up to 3 passengers and 3 bags for a Business Sedan, 6 passengers and 6 bags for a First Class SUV, and 14 passengers and 12 bags for a Sprinter Van. Those figures do not account for every combination of oversized cases, strollers or mobility equipment. Send the bag count and dimensions as well as the passenger count, and confirm the vehicle fit before booking. A full Sprinter group should review its luggage needs before assuming every passenger can bring a large suitcase.
It depends on the trip. Rail is hard to beat for one person going station to station at midday, and the Silver Line now reaches Dulles itself. A reserved car makes more sense when you have bags, a group, a fixed arrival time or a destination far from a station, which describes most of Loudoun.

A Detailed Drivers car from DCA to Tysons is $210 in a Business Sedan, $250 in a First Class SUV and $650 in a Sprinter Van, all-in. From Dulles (IAD) to Tysons the same three vehicles are $200, $250 and $640. IAD to Reston is $160 in a sedan and IAD to Leesburg is $220. The price covers gratuity, tax and card processing, and the written quote for your trip is the binding figure.
No. Detailed Drivers has no stretch limousines. "Limo service" on this page means a chauffeured Business Sedan (up to 3 passengers), a First Class SUV (up to 6 passengers) or a Sprinter Van (up to 14 passengers), with a Mercedes-Benz S-Class available on request. Groups that want one vehicle for the whole party usually book the Sprinter.
For Arlington, Alexandria and the Pentagon area, Reagan National is the short drive: DCA to Crystal City is about 7 minutes without traffic. For Reston, Herndon, Leesburg and Middleburg, Dulles is closer: IAD to Reston is about 11 minutes and IAD to Leesburg about 26 minutes without traffic. Tysons is the middle case, at about 26 minutes from DCA and 22 from IAD. Rush hour and summer weekend traffic can add a lot to any of these.
Both are controlled sites. The Pentagon sets its own visitor rules, so follow the instructions from your meeting host and plan a drop-off where the building's security allows it. Arlington National Cemetery's visit page says vehicle access through the cemetery is generally not authorized except for people with permits for specific gravesites and funerals, and visitors who park at the Welcome Center garage can walk in. Tell dispatch which entrance you plan to use and we set the drop-off and pickup point with you at booking.
Sedan and SUV airport pickups include inside meet-and-greet. For a Sprinter Van, inside meet-and-greet is an add-on quoted at booking. Airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic arrivals and 60 minutes for international arrivals, starting when the flight lands, and the chauffeur tracks your flight.
On-Time Guarantee: if your chauffeur is not at the pickup address on your booking by your scheduled pickup time, we refund the full fare. It covers every booking, every vehicle and every city, 24/7. The guarantee applies to the address and time on your booking; if you change either, it follows the updated details we confirm. For airport pickups we track your flight, so your pickup time follows the actual landing and your chauffeur is waiting when you land and texts you.
Hourly bookings carry a 3-hour minimum. A Business Sedan is $120/hr ($360 for 3 hours, $600 for 5), a First Class SUV is $150/hr ($440 and $730) and a Sprinter Van is $240/hr ($710 and $1,180), all-in. The same chauffeur and vehicle stay with you across every stop, which suits a Tysons and Reston roadshow day or a winery afternoon in Loudoun.
For some trips, yes. Metrorail's Silver Line stops at Rosslyn, Tysons, McLean, Reston Town Center, Herndon and Washington Dulles International Airport, and the Blue Line stops at Rosslyn, the Pentagon, Pentagon City, Crystal City, Reagan National Airport and King St-Old Town. VRE's Fredericksburg and Manassas lines run to Washington Union Station with stops in Alexandria and Crystal City, and the VRE site has the days and times. Rail works well for one traveler going station to station. A car is the better fit with luggage, a group, a destination away from a station, or a late return.
Pickups are arranged by reservation at the home, hotel, office or venue address you provide. This page describes a service area, rather than a local office. Confirm the entrance and a passenger contact number when booking. Dispatch answers at (202) 915-5660 around the clock.
Several Northern Virginia routes have tolls: the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) between Dulles and Tysons, and the I-66 and I-495 Express Lanes, whose prices change with congestion. We do not quote toll amounts on this page because they depend on the route and the time of day. Ask dispatch how tolls apply to your trip when you reserve, and the written quote is the figure that governs.
