Limo service in Maryland, as Detailed Drivers runs it, is a chauffeured Business Sedan, First Class SUV or Sprinter Van booked ahead and priced all-in. A ride from DCA to Bethesda is $190 in a sedan, BWI to Annapolis is $260, and an hourly day starts at $120/hr. We serve Maryland from our reservation team and arrange pickups at your confirmed address.

There are no stretch limousines in this fleet, and we would rather say so up front. People searching for a Maryland limo are usually after a clean, quiet, professionally driven car for an airport run, a hospital or campus visit, a wedding, a prom or a corporate day, and the three vehicles below cover each of those.

This page covers the Maryland side of the region. For the District itself, start with our DC car service page, and for the city's event and gala work see limo service in Washington DC. Across the river, limo service in Northern Virginia covers Arlington, Tysons and Loudoun, and trips that start or end in Baltimore belong to our car service in Baltimore pages.

A Maryland transfer from the airports or downtown DC runs from $170 in a Business Sedan on the shortest trips, such as Downtown DC to Silver Spring, up to $400 for the long run from Reagan National to Frederick. Which airport should Maryland riders use: DCA, IAD or BWI?

Maryland sits between three airports, and the closest one on a map is not always the best one for your flight. The reference routes below put Reagan National closer to Bethesda, Rockville and National Harbor, while BWI is closer to Annapolis. Airline schedules and connections may outweigh road distance. Compare your actual flight options and the complete journey to your destination. Our pages for DCA car service, IAD car service and BWI car service cover terminal details, and the Washington DC airport car service hub compares all of them. If you are connecting between airports, see BWI to DCA car service.

Meet-and-greet and waiting

Sedan and SUV airport pickups include inside meet-and-greet. For a Sprinter Van, inside meet-and-greet is an add-on quoted at booking. Airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic flights and 60 minutes for international flights, starting when the flight actually lands. We track your flight.

Flight tracking

Your pickup time follows the actual landing time, so a delayed flight does not leave a chauffeur idling at the wrong hour or a car that left too early. Send the airline and flight number when you book and dispatch handles the rest.

Where do we go in Maryland? A town-by-town guide

Each town below pairs a few real anchors with the route numbers from the table above. Addresses come from the organizations themselves, and drive times are free-flow, so add margin for traffic.

Bethesda
Medical campuses and corporate offices shape Bethesda trips. The National Institutes of Health and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (8901 Rockville Pike) draw patients, researchers and families, and Marriott International (7750 Wisconsin Avenue) and Lockheed Martin (6801 Rockledge Drive) keep their headquarters here. Congressional Country Club (8500 River Road) is a short drive west. DCA to Bethesda is $190 sedan, about 28 minutes without traffic.
Chevy Chase and Potomac
Residential Montgomery County on both sides of the Beltway. Chevy Chase is $180 sedan from DCA (about 28 minutes), and Potomac is $230 (about 34 minutes). For a home, private club or school pickup, confirm the exact entrance rather than relying on the town name.
North Bethesda
Home of the Music Center at Strathmore, at 5301 Tuckerman Lane. Strathmore's directions describe the sky bridge from the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro parking garage. Concert guests who want a door-to-door ride with a late pickup book a car instead of timing the last train.
Rockville and Gaithersburg
Office parks, biotech campuses and the I-270 corridor. DCA to Rockville is $250 sedan (about 36 minutes), and DCA to Gaithersburg is $270 (about 43 minutes). Both towns are also reachable from Dulles and BWI.
Silver Spring
A Maryland destination north of the District. Downtown DC to Silver Spring is $170 sedan (about 21 minutes), and DCA is $190 (about 26 minutes). BWI is $300, which makes Silver Spring a practical base for travelers flying into Baltimore.
College Park
The University of Maryland campus. Parents, visiting faculty and recruiting teams book DCA to College Park at $200 sedan (about 29 minutes) or BWI at $260 (about 40 minutes). Downtown DC is $180 (about 24 minutes).
National Harbor
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center (201 Waterfront Street) and MGM National Harbor sit on the Potomac a short drive from DCA: $190 sedan, about 21 minutes. Convention groups often book a Sprinter at $630 for a shared arrival.
Landover and Largo
Northwest Stadium, at 1600 Ring Road in Landover, is the home field of the Washington Commanders, per its official site. On game days we plan the pickup and return window with you in advance, because the roads around it fill up before and after kickoff.
Annapolis
The state capital and home of the U.S. Naval Academy. Check the Academy's visitor page before arranging a visit. BWI is the short airport run at $260 sedan (about 33 minutes), and downtown DC is $310 (about 47 minutes).
Columbia
Merriweather Post Pavilion, at 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway, is the main concert draw. BWI to Columbia is $220 sedan (about 25 minutes) and downtown DC is $260 (about 46 minutes).
Frederick
A longer Maryland transfer. DCA to Frederick is $400 sedan and $970 in a Sprinter, about 73 minutes without traffic, and Dulles is $350 (about 66 minutes).

What do people book a Maryland limo for?

The same three vehicles cover every occasion on this list. What changes is the booking format: a single transfer for an airport run, an hourly block for anything with stops.

Airport runs
Home or hotel to DCA, IAD or BWI and back, with flight tracking. Tell dispatch about strollers and golf bags before choosing a vehicle. Groups larger than six can request a Sprinter, subject to its luggage fit.
NIH and Walter Reed
Patients, families and visiting researchers going to Bethesda's medical campuses. Walter Reed sits on a military installation. Check the hospital's current arrival guidance and tell dispatch which gate your appointment instructions require. Vehicle entry is controlled by the installation.
Naval Academy
Graduation weekends, parents' visits and family events in Annapolis. Vehicle entry is controlled by the Academy. Agree on a drop-off outside the installation unless the actual driver and vehicle have authorized access, and check the current visitor requirements before travel.
Weddings
Couples, parents and guest shuttles between a hotel and a ceremony. Our DC wedding transportation page covers the planning side, and the same cars work for Maryland venues.
Proms
A Sprinter Van keeps a group of up to 14 together across photos, dinner and the dance, with an hourly booking and one chauffeur for the night. Book early in spring, and give the chauffeur the full list of stops.
Corporate roadshows
A day along I-270 between Bethesda, Rockville and Gaithersburg, or a run from DCA to a Frederick site visit. Hourly booking holds one car at your disposal, and our DC corporate travel page explains account billing for repeat travelers.
Concerts and games
Strathmore in North Bethesda, Merriweather in Columbia and Northwest Stadium in Landover. For a return pickup, agree on a reachable meeting point and tell dispatch the expected end time. Check the venue's current pickup guidance before the event.
Conventions
National Harbor events at the Gaylord, with airport arrivals from DCA and group moves to dinners in Maryland or the District.

How much does a Maryland chauffeur cost by the hour?

Hourly service is the right format when you have more than one stop, such as a hospital visit followed by dinner, a prom night or a day of meetings. The minimum is 3 hours. Our DC hourly chauffeur page explains how as-directed time works, and groups of seven or more can look at Sprinter van rental in Washington DC.

VehiclePer hour3 hours5 hoursSeats
Business Sedan$120/hr$360$600Up to 3
First Class SUV$150/hr$440$730Up to 6
Sprinter Van$240/hr$710$1,180Up to 14

All-in estimates: gratuity, tax and card processing included, rounded to the nearest $10. Hourly rates and booking totals are rounded independently. Mercedes-Benz S-Class available on request. Overtime is billed for the actual additional minutes at the applicable per-minute rate for your selected vehicle.

What is included on every Maryland booking?

The same written policies apply on a single sedan or a Sprinter full of wedding guests, and they apply the same way in Maryland as anywhere else we drive.

On-Time Guarantee

If your chauffeur isn't at your booked pickup address by your scheduled pickup time, we refund the full fare. Every booking, every vehicle, every city, 24/7. For airport pickups we track your flight, so the On-Time Guarantee follows the actual landing time: your chauffeur is waiting when you land and texts you. If they are not, we refund the full fare. The full terms are on our service guarantees page.

All-in pricing

The price you are quoted covers gratuity, tax and card processing for the trip as booked. Additional stops, waiting beyond the included allowance, overtime and itinerary changes can alter the total. Any separately quoted event or service conditions belong in the written confirmation.

Waiting and cancellation

Non-airport pickups include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting. Sedan and SUV bookings receive a full refund when cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Sprinter bookings receive a full refund when cancelled at least 72 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations inside the applicable notice period are charged in full. If your flight is cancelled, there is no cancellation charge. These windows apply unless your quote says otherwise: event bookings and high-demand dates can carry a different window because of event pricing and availability, and your quote will state it.

Is a car service better than Uber, a taxi, Metro or MARC in Maryland?

It depends on the trip. Rail is hard to beat for one person going station to station at midday. A reserved car makes more sense when you have bags, a group, a fixed arrival time or a destination far from a station.

How to book limo service in Maryland

Book through the reservation form or call (202) 915-5660. These details let dispatch size the vehicle and time the pickup.

  1. Pickup address in Maryland, destination, date and the time you need to be there.
  2. For airport trips: the airline, flight number and whether the arrival is international.
  3. Number of passengers, bags and any child seats or mobility equipment. Vehicle selection must account for passengers, bags and equipment together; confirm the fit before choosing a class.
  4. For events: the venue, the expected end time and any stops in between, so dispatch can book an hourly block.
  5. A mobile number that works on arrival, so the chauffeur can text you.

Maryland is a service area. Pickups take place at the address on your confirmed reservation. If your trip ends in Baltimore proper, see our car service in Baltimore page, and for a start in the District see the DC car service hub.

How should you plan timing for Beltway and I-270 traffic?

Every minute figure on this page is a free-flow drive time from the road network, which means a trip with no traffic at all. Real trips in the Maryland suburbs rarely match it. I-495 around Bethesda and Silver Spring, I-270 through Rockville and Gaithersburg and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway toward BWI can all slow down sharply at rush hour, on a game day or during a summer weekend. Treat the routing figures as a baseline and confirm a pickup time for your exact date, address and arrival deadline.

For a morning departure flight, tell dispatch the airline, the flight number and the terminal if you know it, and work backward from the airline's own check-in guidance. Our complete guide to DCA, IAD and BWI car service walks through terminal layouts and timing for each airport. For a wedding or a concert, give us the start time of the event rather than the time you would like to arrive, and we will set the pickup with a cushion.

Plan the return separately at Northwest Stadium, Merriweather Post Pavilion and Strathmore. Agree on an accessible meeting point, check the venue's pickup instructions and send your expected departure time. A reservation still needs a realistic boarding plan when many guests leave together. If your plans change, tell dispatch and the guarantee follows the updated pickup details we confirm.

Luggage deserves the same planning. The rate card lists up to 3 passengers and 3 bags for a Business Sedan, 6 passengers and 6 bags for a First Class SUV, and 14 passengers and 12 bags for a Sprinter Van. Those figures do not account for every combination of oversized cases, strollers or mobility equipment. Send the bag count and dimensions as well as the passenger count, and confirm the vehicle fit before booking. A full Sprinter group should review its luggage needs before assuming every passenger can bring a large suitcase.

Limo service in Maryland FAQs

Direct answers on price, airports, the Naval Academy, vehicles and policies.

A Detailed Drivers car from DCA to Bethesda is $190 in a Business Sedan, $230 in a First Class SUV and $620 in a Sprinter Van, all-in. From BWI to Bethesda the same three vehicles are $320, $390 and $830. BWI to Annapolis is $260 in a sedan. The price covers gratuity, tax and card processing, and the written quote for your trip is the binding figure.

No. Detailed Drivers has no stretch limousines. "Limo service" on this page means a chauffeured Business Sedan, a First Class SUV (up to 6 passengers) or a Sprinter Van (up to 14 passengers), with a Mercedes-Benz S-Class available on request. Groups that want one vehicle for the whole party usually book the Sprinter.

Reagan National (DCA) is the closest for Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Silver Spring and National Harbor: DCA to Bethesda is about 28 minutes without traffic, against 39 from Dulles and 48 from BWI. For Annapolis, BWI is closest at about 33 minutes without traffic, against 50 from DCA. Pick the airport your airline serves best, then add rush-hour traffic, which can add a lot on I-495, I-270 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

General visitor access does not automatically authorize a chauffeur to drive onto the Naval Academy grounds. The Academy controls vehicle entry and publishes identification and visitor requirements on its base-access page. Plan an agreed pickup or drop-off outside the installation unless access for the actual driver and vehicle is authorized. Confirm current instructions with your host and the Academy before travel.

Sedan and SUV airport pickups include inside meet-and-greet. For a Sprinter Van, inside meet-and-greet is an add-on quoted at booking. Airport pickups include 45 minutes of complimentary waiting for domestic arrivals and 60 minutes for international arrivals, starting when the flight lands, and the chauffeur tracks your flight.

On-Time Guarantee: if your chauffeur is not at the pickup address on your booking by your scheduled pickup time, we refund the full fare. It covers every booking, every vehicle and every city, 24/7. The guarantee applies to the address and time on your booking; if you change either, it follows the updated details we confirm. For airport pickups we track your flight, so your pickup time follows the actual landing and your chauffeur is waiting when you land and texts you.

Hourly bookings carry a 3-hour minimum. A Business Sedan is $120/hr ($360 for 3 hours, $600 for 5), a First Class SUV is $150/hr ($440 and $730) and a Sprinter Van is $240/hr ($710 and $1,180), all-in. The same chauffeur and vehicle stay with you across every stop, which suits an I-270 roadshow day or a wedding party moving between venues.

For some trips, yes. Metrorail's Red Line stops at Bethesda, Rockville and Silver Spring, and MARC's Brunswick Line stops at Frederick, Gaithersburg, Rockville, Kensington, Silver Spring and College Park. Rail works well for one traveler going station to station. A car is the better fit with luggage, a group, a destination away from a station, or an airport that rail does not reach directly.

Pickups are arranged by reservation at the home, hotel, office or venue address you provide. This page describes a service area, rather than a local office. Confirm the entrance and a passenger contact number when booking. Dispatch answers at (202) 915-5660 around the clock.
